TA-65 Human Study

The First TA-65 Human Study: In 2005 there was a critical Anti-Aging experiment of TA-65 which was a double-blind, placebo-controlled, 24 week research study wherein subjects took 2 or 4 pills each day of a placebo for 12 weeks or 2 or 4 pills every day of a TA-65 predecessor molecule (TA-41) for 12 weeks.

Thirty-six male subjects, from 60-85 years of age, were recruited. Subjects were randomized to the placebo group, or treatment group. Subjects were assessed at baseline and following 6 weeks, 12 weeks and 24 weeks from the earliest dose of the telomerase activator.

TA-65 Human Study Benefit – Immune Cells:
At 12 Weeks, Immune system cells called NK Cells had an average increase of 12%, while those in the placebo group actually declined 10% over the same period of time.

TA-65 Human Study Benefit – Vision:
Vision acuity tests were performed at 6, 12, and 24 weeks. It appears that changes were seen within the first 6 weeks, as a statistical significant improvement happened during this first test, while no statistical imporvements where notived at 12 or 24 weeks.

TA-65 Human Study Benefit – Sexual Function:
Sexual function was self-assessed before the testing by questionnaire, then later at 6, 12, and 24 weeks. The first 6 weeks showed the highest statistical improvement according to the questionnaires.

TA-65 Human Study Benefit – Skin Improvements:
Skin cells (including hair follicles) were assessed before testing began, then again at 6, 12 and 24 weeks. Although all through times the changes were seen, the greatest and most impressive changes where checked and seen after the first 6 weeks.

The important aspect to this was that the subjects were not animals, but humans. This first TA-65 human study paved the way and confirmed to many the actual benefits that people can have by taking a telomerase activator. The ongoing studies on animals also provide additional information on how the cellular benefits are accomplished with this telomerase activator. We will update you on further TA-65 human study trials as they become available.

TA-65® has been in use since 2005 with not one reported adverse event.
